It helps her to keep up with her books as well as not drop them or step on them in the coming and going. She was very excited when we surprised her with it. The tote looks great, it's sturdy, it is the perfect size, and gets the job done in style! She has enjoyed using this bag so much we decided to order another one for her to use as a library bag. :)
