(More customer reviews)I disagree with the previous author as I found theses perfect for music use. I have a 4 channel set up modified to also reproduce 5.1 material. I am running these on the first notch with a preamp sourced input and the bass is tight and perfect. In fact I could go much louder and overpower the room with low frequencies which gives alot of room for a bigger or smaller stage area. I can imagine if you are looking for intestine moving Rap music reproduction or life like explosions that are not really a realistic goal in the whole scheme of what it is really about listening wise, then these are less than adequete. Overall for the price though a real bargain.
