(More customer reviews)Most searches for "karimba" bring up kalimbas, mbiras, and assorted thumb pianos that do not match what I personally recognize as a karimba with buzzers, originating from the Shona people of Zimbabwe. The seller's photograph convinced me that what I wanted matched their product. The instrument was true to the photograph, the delivery was speedy, and the seller even included some extra tabs. Highly recommended!

These 15 key mbira are handmade in Zimbabwe. The base is a varnished block of wood 5 inches by 8 inches, the keys steel. The cymbals vibrate as the piece is played. These are tunable but we are not expert enough to do this for you or to say what Key the pieces are in. We hope you will enjoy the sounds of these amazing instruments.
