(More customer reviews)As a 32 bass piano accordion, this instrument has bass buttons for major, minor, and seventh chords on Eb, Bb, F, C, G, D, A, and E, making it possible to play most things you'd like to play as a beginner.
I'm not a trainer accordion player, but am a classically trained pianist who was interested in teaching myself the accordion. This instrument seems like it will suit me well for as long as I'm content just "messing around" on the accordion. If I were to play in public in any capacity whatsoever, I would get a better instrument (likely something Italian-made, costing a thousand dollars or more). But for jamming with friends at home, this one is perfect.
You can't beat the price. It's a great value for the money. Highly recommended as a first accordion.
